From the Editor
Another season is upon us and I mean after last year who knows what could happen.

Rumors still persist of Philip Rockhammer's retirement from staredown. Although he could not be reached for comment, his agent/manager "Cousin" Donnie Anderson, claims the rumors to be outrageous and part of some Patterson PR ploy.

"Listen, Philip is in the best condition of his life," continued Anderson, "there isn't a doubt in my mind that he will be back this season. We're looking for two in a row."

For the first time in the history of this publication, Tony Patterson was unavailable for comment.

We are all hoping that Tony's threats of starting his own staredown league are just that and that we'll see him back at the toe line real soon.

In this writers humble opinion the Patterson vs. Rockhammer rivalry was really needed in this sport. In the long run I think this may ultimately help launch staredown onto the sporting map.

Everyone around hopes to see both of these warriors back in the ring in 2006.
