Tony Patterson Appears on “Fruitcake Friday“ Radio Show
Rock 105 in Jacksonville, Florida had a very special guest this morning - none other than Pro Staredown legend Tony Patterson. Host Mark Summers interviewed Patterson about the finer points of Pro Staredown, the NASP, and Patterson's career and his clashes with 2005 NASP Champ Philip Rockhammer.
With the success of the staredown documentary Unflinching Triumph: The Philip Rockhammer Story, Pro Staredown is enjoying quite a bit of publicity worldwide these days. The Wall Street Journal and Esquire are just some of the media outlets that have covered the league and its superstars.
”[Staredown] is the ultimate challenge. There's a lot of hobbyists that come in here - When they step up to that toeline I can see right into them right away. They know I'm the 5-time Champion!!!“ claimed Patterson during the interview.
Patterson then went on a 5-minute rant concerning the incident in Flagstaff, Arizona in which he claims Rockhammer stole the National Championship. He directed listeners to his website(pattersonpack.com) to read more about the incident.
”This is the dumbest story I've ever heard!“ said Summers.
“If Summers has a problem, I challenge him to step to the toeline and see the power of the Crankshaft firsthand,” said Patterson.
