NASP names new Director of Public Relations and Corporate Sponsorships
"The NASP has experienced growth none of us had ever dreamed of and lately it has become apparent that we needed to help manage and expand that growth," explained current NASP commission Ernie Armstrong. "Therefore we've made a step in that direction by brining Donnie Anderson on as our new Director of Public Relationships and Corporate Sponsorships.
Anderson, more commonly know as Cousin Donnie to most people in Staredown, was the former manager and agent for current NASP National Champion, Philip Rockhammer.
Lately reports have surfaced of a falling out between the two after Rockhammer's decision to retire from Staredown.
"There are no problems between Philip and myself," claimed Anderson. "However our careers were going in two different directions and we decided it was better to part ways."
Anderon's immediate responsibilities within the NASP will be to increase awareness of events on a local level and also to bring more corporate sponsorships into the loop.
"I believe in Staredown as a sport and have every intention of bringing it into the pantheon of American sports."
For inquiries about PR or Corporate Sponsorships feel free to contact Donnie at 916-317-9365.
